SKITTLE ALLEY FOR HIRE:
We have a portable, full size skittles alley which we hire out for functions - can be used both inside and
outside! For an amazing fee of only £50, the equipment is delivered to a local site, set up for you and packed up and
collected at the end. This makes for a fun time for all ages - a popular attraction at any special occasion. Contact Joan

Remember Last Summer When It Was Carnival Time ..........
At Beccles Carnival in the Summer of 2007, twenty "groovy" penguins depicting
"Happy Feet" boogied and squawked their way around the town, causing much amusement from the crowds that lined the route.
We were rewarded by winning the "Mal Martin Memorial Trophy". Lowestoft Carnival saw fewer, but just as enthusiastic penguins
dancing and waddling through the streets. The crowd reaction was brilliant and the weather held fair for us. We were delighted
to win our section trophy against strong opposition. Thanks to everyone who helped: Joan, ably assisted by Lyne and Maureen
for the costumes; Joan, Kelvin, Del and Lyne and all who helped with the float; Pip Ward who kindly lent us a P.A. system;
Sonny Porter for towing the float at both carnivals with his tractor; Jane and Chris Ling for allowing us to use the barn
to store and build the float and for "Dance Practice"; Terry and Lings Honda for the support vehicle; the Bear & Bells
for the use of the function room to change in and finally, a big thanks to all those who took part, either as penguins or
collectors.
