FAMILY TREASURE HUNT - Sunday 13th July 2008
 
Starts at 2.00pm from Beccles Old Market outside the Bear & Bells pub.
 
1st  Prize £15 Woolworths Voucher
2nd Prize £10 Woolworths Voucher
3rd Prize   £5  Woolworths Voucher
 
An interesting walk around the historic market town centre of Beccles looking for answers to clues. Lots of easy clues for the kids & more difficult ones for the adults - fun for the whole family.
 
Will last around 1 hour and the cost per entry sheet is only £2.50.

Our 2007 "Step Back In Time" walks were extremely successful and we received numerous accolades from the many members of the public who participated in our walks. We have researched new stories and ideas for 2008 and look forward to another successful series of "Step Back In Time" history walks.
 
The remaining planned dates for 2008 History Walks are the following Saturdays:
 
26th July leaving at 7:30pm
30th August leaving at 7:00pm (the nights start to draw in!)
 
(Dont forget, the "GHOST  WALKS" start in September. See below for details, after the history walk pictures.)

GHOST WALKS

Leave from outside the Bear & Bells Pub at 7.30pm.
 
The planned dates for 2008 are as follows:
 
Most are Saturdays, except for the Halloween Special which is a Friday
 
27th September
25th October
31st  October on Friday night which is Halloween - lots of extras with a Fancy Dress Competition
15th November (To be confirmed)

CHARITY  ABSEIL
 
 
On Saturday 12th July 2008, there will be a CHARITY ABSEIL at Ipswich Hospital in aid of HEADWAY ESSEX, the brain injury charity. Their patron is none other than David Tennant, who takes time off from playing the famous DOCTOR WHO on television to support the charity. If you fancy having a go and getting some sponsors to raise money for this charity, then you can contact Headway Essex for a sponsorship form as follows:
